Jef Meyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Foeke Toolenaar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jef Meyer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jef Meyer. Springplank FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Klaas Adelaar's late challenge caught a Springplank FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klaas Adelaar helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half De Digitale Dribbelaars were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Felix Wessel made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Timo Baars however managed to control. De Digitale Dribbelaars's Pascal Vledder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Formerio in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen in the 67th minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Jef Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Springplank FC's Jef Meyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Springplank FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to De Digitale Dribbelaars getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Abraham Zandberg hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Springplank FC's zone, Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jef Meyer came out of the goal and Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 minutes, Foeke Toolenaar made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Springplank FC's Jef Meyer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The De Digitale Dribbelaars players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
