Co Luijpers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf van der Saar, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Arjan Zoontjens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Erwin Teesing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Dukaton f.c.'s Coos van Ankeren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erwin Teesing. That made the score 2-0 after 20 minutes of play. After 22 played minutes ASC South United got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Tamminga. Erwin Teesing made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Jonathan Cohen sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Dukaton f.c. booed when ASC South United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Tamminga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Co Luijpers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf van der Saar in the 32nd minute of the match. 3-0 became the score in the 34th minute when Jonathan Cohen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Erwin Teesing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coos van Ankeren in the 37th minute of play. Erwin Teesing made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Arjan Zoontjens sent off a good shot on target. Erwin Teesing made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Gido Kort sent off a good shot on target. In the 48th minute Arjan Zoontjens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Teesing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erwin Teesing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arjan Zoontjens in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Rolf van der Saar made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to ASC South United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Wesley Eringa hit a great ball. Erwin Teesing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arjan Zoontjens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Cohen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Erwin Teesing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coos van Ankeren scored 5-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erwin Teesing, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erwin Teesing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arjan Zoontjens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dukaton f.c.'s Jonathan Cohen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erwin Teesing in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Erwin Teesing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Cohen in the 77th minute of play. Erwin Teesing came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Dukaton f.c.'s Arjan Zoontjens. But to his dismay, Arjan Zoontjens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Andreas Tamminga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Co Luijpers having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gert van Westerop got free with Co Luijpers in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute of the match, Rolf van der Saar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Co Luijpers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Erwin Teesing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Cohen, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jonathan Cohen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Dukaton f.c. were the better team. Dukaton f.c.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
