When Otto Jorna came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the ASV Muziekwijk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Jorna couldn't finish the play. Thomas Hoogsteen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Reinier Polak notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FCF north's Chris Tinselboer. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thomas Hoogsteen firmly grabbed it by the left post. 36 minutes into the match, ASV Muziekwijk's goalkeeper Thomas Hoogsteen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arcan Çapan. Raymond Huisingh's late challenge caught a FCF north's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymond Huisingh helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes ASV Muziekwijk got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Huisingh. 39 minutes into the match, ASV Muziekwijk's goal looked a bit too open when Arcan Çapan came free, but Thomas Hoogsteen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FCF north's Jonatan Bilintx got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Ed Bijlsma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Hoogsteen. ASV Muziekwijk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ed Bijlsma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinier Polak made a kick off. After 50 played minutes FCF north got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Bilintx. 55 minutes into the match, Arcan Çapan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Hoogsteen. ASV Muziekwijk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arcan Çapan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Steelman in the 62nd minute of play forced ASV Muziekwijk's goalkeeper Thomas Hoogsteen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ed Bijlsma struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Thomas Hoogsteen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCF north. Ed Bijlsma kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. FCF north's Chris Tinselboer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FCF north from getting a goal against them. Ed Bijlsma took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Hoogsteen. Thomas Hoogsteen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 73rd minute Arcan Çapan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Hoogsteen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Hoogsteen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Steelman in the 79th minute of the match. If Mariano Bombarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomas Hoogsteen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Steelman, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Thomas Hoogsteen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Bilintx in the 87th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ASV Muziekwijk defense, Jonathan Steelman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Hoogsteen. The ASV Muziekwijk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Hoogsteen should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FCF north getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jonatan Bilintx hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the FCF north players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
