An unexpectedly hard shot by Ed Bijlsma in the 2nd minute of play forced ASC South United's goalkeeper Erwin Teesing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 3rd minute, Arcan Çapan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCF north fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arcan Çapan might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erwin Teesing. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arcan Çapan ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Steelman in the 7th minute of play forced ASC South United's goalkeeper Erwin Teesing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erwin Teesing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arcan Çapan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erwin Teesing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Steelman in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Jonathan Steelman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Teesing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Ricky Schattenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Bender scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chris Tinselboer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Ed Bijlsma made a precise shot to the right of Erwin Teesing. ASC South United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Andreas Tamminga hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Erwin Teesing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arcan Çapan in the 36th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hugo Bender kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chris Tinselboer. That made the score 2-2 in the 41 minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arcan Çapan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ed Bijlsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Teesing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by ASC South United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arne Wijk was slow to take the kick. During this time FCF north's players had a chance to rest. Chris Tinselboer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Bender in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match FCF north got a corner. ASC South United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arne Wijk ran over to the corner to take the kick. Erwin Teesing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Bilintx, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Nick Schipmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ASC South United getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ricky Schattenberg hit a great ball. With a little luck, ASC South United's Erwin Teesing got control of the ball when Arcan Çapan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Bender blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chris Tinselboer having to make a save. Erwin Teesing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Bijlsma in the 89th minute of play. Ed Bijlsma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Erwin Teesing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FCF north played a much better game than ASC South United and deserved their victory. The ASC South United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
