In the 24th minute, Valdo de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco van Persie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Luís Fernando Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Marcelinho de Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Floresta Negra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenato futebol clube the free kick. Luís Fernando Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Hermes in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Floresta Negra FC's Marco van Persie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Fernando Rosado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco van Persie in the 47th minute of play forced Fenato futebol clube's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's Nico das Neves got a free kick in the 51st minute. With an all-out effort, Floresta Negra FC's Luís Fernando Rosado threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marco van Persie, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luís Fernando Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar de Mendonça in the 56th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Eusébio Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Marco van Persie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fernando Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Floresta Negra FC were awarded a corner. José Carlos Hermes went to the cornerflag to take it. Luís Fernando Rosado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marco van Persie showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 87 minute of play. Luís Fernando Rosado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kléber de Senna in the 91st minute. Luís Fernando Rosado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Fenato futebol clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Floresta Negra FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
