Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luizão Peixoto started the match with the kick off. Zé Pedro Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cambridge Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Kléber Rodrigues hit a great ball. In the 7th minute Filomeno Nicholas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Rodrigues in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute Luizão Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrão Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cambridge Esporte Clube defense, Santiago Starnes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Barros. The Cambridge Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Barros should have stopped the shot. Edgard Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Nicholas in the 26th minute of the match. Edgard Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Starnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Tolino, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Cambridge Esporte Clube's Elivélton Aparecido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Baptista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Edgard Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karaboudjan's Santiago Starnes managed to work through Cambridge Esporte Clube's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Santiago Starnes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 41 minutes into the match, Cambridge Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Tolino came free, but Edgard Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, Karaboudjan's Evaristo Tolino made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Claudinho Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Cambridge Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Hoffmann. In the 60th minute of the match, Luizão Peixoto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgard Barros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cambridge Esporte Clube's Edgard Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Tolino in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Rodrigues came free, but Miguel Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Baptista came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Cambridge Esporte Clube's Elivélton Aparecido. But to his dismay, Elivélton Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. With an all-out effort, Karaboudjan's Edgard Barros threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luizão Peixoto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Cambridge Esporte Clube's zone, Santiago Starnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Barros came out of the goal and Santiago Starnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgard Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Starnes in the 76th minute. Evaristo Tolino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 86th minute of the match, Luizão Peixoto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgard Barros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Miguel Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Aparecido in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Karaboudjan getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Luizão Peixoto hit a great ball. Evaristo Tolino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Pedro Camargo scored 2-5 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgard Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
