João Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Tostão Lucas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luís de Moraes, 1-0. Edgard Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Luís Paulo Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, C.R. FLANALDO's Dida Dantas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 22nd minute Luiz Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Cambridge Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Aparecido. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Coutinho in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 minutes of play, Cambridge Esporte Clube's Elivélton Aparecido made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís de Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elivélton Aparecido didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 37th minute. Cambridge Esporte Clube's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 42nd play minute Elivélton Aparecido came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luís de Moraes. 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Penha was the one to do the kick off. Luís Paulo Correia struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Luís de Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambridge Esporte Clube. Elivélton Aparecido took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís de Moraes. Luís de Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Luís Paulo Correia's late challenge caught a C.R. FLANALDO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Paulo Correia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Cambridge Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Correia to maneuver through the defense. Luís de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Cambridge Esporte Clube's Claudinho Hoffmann got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Luís de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivélton Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.R. FLANALDO's Luís de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Rodrigues in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute Luís Paulo Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Jonas Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís de Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Luís de Moraes came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Cambridge Esporte Clube's Elivélton Aparecido. But to his dismay, Elivélton Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. After a rather tough play, C.R. FLANALDO's Tiago Gabriel Chaves got a free kick in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Cambridge Esporte Clube's Kléber Rodrigues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís de Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. In the 85th minute Jonas Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.R. FLANALDO's Luiz Penha got a free kick in the 87th minute. Dida Dantas hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, Kléber Rodrigues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Luís de Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Luisinho de Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.R. FLANALDO's protests and gave Luisinho de Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, C.R.
