The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes 100 Chance got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Gomes. Claudinho Pinheiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leopoldo Cerezo came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudinho Pinheiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Gil Tinoco got a free kick in the 9th minute. Edu Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Adhemar Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Dante might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Cerezo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Dante ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Dante got free with Leopoldo Cerezo in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Claudinho Pinheiro took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Leopoldo Cerezo to make any attempt to save it. Adhemar Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Renan Alcântara scored 3-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the 100 Chance defense, Anaking Skywalker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo. The 100 Chance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Cerezo should have stopped the shot. Adhemar Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naldo Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 46 played minutes 100 Chance got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Almeida. Leopoldo Cerezo made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Elias Dante sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Dante was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Elias Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Alcântara in the 54th minute of play. Leopoldo Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renan Alcântara went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Elias Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 minutes of play, Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Renan Alcântara made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Alcântara came free, but Leopoldo Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ceilândia Futebol Clube's Renan Alcântara got a free kick in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Roberto Gerber dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adhemar Souto, 8-1. There was no doubt that Ceilândia Futebol Clube were the better team. Ceilândia Futebol Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
