The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederico Botelho got free with Leopoldo Cerezo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frederico Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Cerezo having to interfere. OxentePaisa Salcity's Haroldo Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Machado in the 31st minute of play. Leopoldo Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Carioca in the 37th minute of play. Leopoldo Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metin Golani, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd match minute, 100 Chance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edu Valadares to strike the kick off in the second half. OxentePaisa Salcity's Haroldo Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Machado in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in 100 Chance's zone, Frederico Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Cerezo came out of the goal and Frederico Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Frederico Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OxentePaisa Salcity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico Botelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Metin Golani notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of 100 Chance's Leopoldo Cerezo. Leopoldo Cerezo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filipe Meneses did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Haroldo Brodel 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metin Golani in the 70th minute of play forced 100 Chance's goalkeeper Leopoldo Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, 100 Chance's Naldo Marquez got a free kick in the 71st minute. Frederico Botelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Haroldo Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Valadares in the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Filipe Meneses shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Meneses, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Meneses could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Haroldo Brodel made a huge save. Haroldo Brodel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naldo Marquez in the 93rd minute. The supporters of 100 Chance booed when OxentePaisa Salcity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball.
