With an all-out effort, A A Arizona's Décio Barbosa threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manuel Paiva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 32 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Pinheiro. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Microsoft Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A A Arizona:s goal. Décio Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ronaldinho Cruz sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Paiva was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Microsoft Team's Raphael Pinheiro got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Hélder Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Netto in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Microsoft Team booed when A A Arizona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kléber Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Hu Zhen Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Paiva to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Microsoft Team's protests and gave Rubinho Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Microsoft Team getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rubinho Furtado hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, A A Arizona's Valério Paranaense got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 60 minutes of play, A A Arizona's Manuel Paiva made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Décio Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute, Ronaldinho Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Décio Barbosa. Microsoft Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. A A Arizona's Nilson Hoffmann got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Décio Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A A Arizona fully deserved thier win.
