Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Santos Campineiro's Luiz Fernando Souza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Santos Campineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Botelho to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Válbson Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válbson Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nelson Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Paiva in the 10th minute of play. Santos Campineiro's Johnny Iago shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gelu Lepuș but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Paiva in the 17th minute of play forced Santos Campineiro's goalkeeper Nelson Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelson Tróia came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Cadu Team's Hugo Alcântara. But to his dismay, Hugo Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Santos Campineiro's zone, Válbson Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Tróia came out of the goal and Válbson Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, Válbson Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nelson Tróia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Hugo Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadu Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelson Tróia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Válbson Paiva sped through Santos Campineiro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nelson Tróia. 34 minutes into the match, Válbson Paiva notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Santos Campineiro's Nelson Tróia. Nelson Tróia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Santos Campineiro's zone, Válbson Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Tróia came out of the goal and Válbson Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cadu Team booed when Santos Campineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Válbson Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cadu Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Cadu Team were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Alcântara to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Hugo Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Nelson Tróia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the game, Válbson Paiva lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Nelson Tróia. Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Válbson Paiva was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Cadu Team's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Santos Campineiro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Válbson Paiva scored to the left of an out of position Nelson Tróia, making the score, 0-7. A hard shot 70 in the game by Válbson Paiva from a close distance when the talented Nelson Tróia managed to make a qualified save. Santos Campineiro's players were relieved. Nelson Tróia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. In the 76th minute, Válbson Paiva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nelson Tróia. The goal made the score 0-9. After 84th play minutes Válbson Paiva shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Nelson Tróia and just under the crossbar into goal. 89 minutes into the match, Santos Campineiro's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Paiva came free, but Nelson Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cadu Team booed when Santos Campineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Reinaldo Botelho in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cadu Team's Ricardo Prata. After a defensive mix-up in Santos Campineiro's zone, Válbson Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Tróia came out of the goal and Válbson Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Nelson Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadu Team. With his leg Nelson Tróia managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cadu Team's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
