The Cadu Team fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Válbson Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Bandeirinha AD's Renatinho Reis got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ramiro Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Meireles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mattias Downing's late challenge caught a Bandeirinha AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattias Downing helped the player get up and apologised. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Hugo Alcântara sped through Bandeirinha AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teodoro Meireles. Teodoro Meireles came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva. But to his dismay, Válbson Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Teodoro Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Paiva in the 43rd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Alcântara to make the kick off. Válbson Paiva succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 53rd playminute. If Válbson Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the match, Bandeirinha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Paiva came free, but Teodoro Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teodoro Meireles. Teodoro Meireles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. A hard shot 65 in the game by Válbson Paiva from a close distance when the talented Teodoro Meireles managed to make a qualified save. Bandeirinha AD's players were relieved. Teodoro Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válbson Paiva in the 66th minute. A collision led to Cadu Team getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Hugo Alcântara hit a great ball. Mattias Downing hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Bandeirinha AD's goalkeeper Teodoro Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson Paiva. The Cadu Team fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
