But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matheus de Souza couldn't finish the play. César Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When André Alvarenga fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos Campineiro's protests and gave André Alvarenga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, André Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santos Campineiro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dito Eger was slow to take the kick. During this time PREZULO FC's players had a chance to rest. Dida Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Moretti, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Dida Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Moretti in the 28th minute of the match. John Igor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from César Cruz went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Miguel Chaves came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the PREZULO FC fans jumped to their feet. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luiz Fernando Souza made the kick off in the second half. PREZULO FC's Dida Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Tróia in the 51st minute of play. After 54 minutes, Matheus Moretti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos Campineiro and the PREZULO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Matheus Moretti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos Campineiro's goalkeeper John Igor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute PREZULO FC were awarded a corner. Dito Eger went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on PREZULO FC's corner Dito Eger fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and John Igor quite easily take care of the ball. In the 61st minute, César Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PREZULO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 68thth minute of the game César Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santos Campineiro's John Igor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dida Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
