After 4 played minutes Los Bacanas FC got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Esteves. Remo Borges hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Pires during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Marzagão booed when Los Bacanas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Marzagão's Alfredinho Quintal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfredinho Quintal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Marzagão protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfredinho Quintal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alfredinho Quintal hit a great ball. Davi Santana scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Célio Dionísio in the 33rd minute of play. Davi Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Pedro Luís Fernandez made a huge save. When Célio Dionísio came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Los Bacanas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Célio Dionísio couldn't finish the play. Pedro Luís Fernandez was a little too slow when Davi Santana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-0. Pedro Luís Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eurico Jacinto went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eurico Jacinto was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Luís Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Bacanas FC's Célio Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Santana in the 70th minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Los Bacanas FC's Humberto Pires broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Pires in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute Davi Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Los Bacanas FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Davi Santana hit a great ball. In the 78th minute of the match Gilberto Saraiva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danilo Teles skillfully saved the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Afonso Rodrigues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Bacanas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marzagão the free kick. When Humberto Pires was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. Humberto Pires hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Gilberto Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Davi Santana struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Pedro Luís Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Bacanas FC. The supporters of Marzagão booed when Los Bacanas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Bacanas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marzagão had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
