In the 2nd minute, Thiago Damião made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. Marzagão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Thiago Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 6 minutes into the game, Thiago Damião recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Luís Fernandez. Thiago Damião showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Kaká Goiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Luís Fernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Thiago Damião sent off a good shot on target. Leonardo Vides hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Nestor Cordeiro from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Pedro Luís Fernandez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thiago Damiãos short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Pedro Luís Fernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pedro Luís Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thiago Damião went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thiago Damião got free with Pedro Luís Fernandez in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Luís Fernandez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. César Rosa's late challenge caught a AF CERRADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Rosa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's César Rosa got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes, AF CERRADO's Nestor Cordeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AF CERRADO reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Damião in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luís Fernandez saved Marzagão from getting behind. In the 34th minute of the match, Kaká Goiano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Luís Fernandez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. AF CERRADO were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Marzagão's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nestor Cordeiro took the corner. The corner ended in Nestor Cordeiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez did a great save. Pedro Luís Fernandez stood somewhat misplaced when Thiago Damião came free in front of goal and shot 5-0 to the left of him in the 42 minute. In the 46th minute Thiago Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Borges to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute of the match Nestor Cordeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luís Fernandez skillfully saved the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 54th match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Rosa to maneuver through the defense. When AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marzagão's goalie prevented a goal. Sandrinho Sabóia came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Marzagão's Neil Mar. But to his dismay, Neil Mar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 60th minute Thiago Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Thiago Damião notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez. Pedro Luís Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Luís Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Marzagão booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Damião in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luís Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70thth minute of the game Thiago Damião who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Remo Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Thiago Damião sped through Marzagão's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. When AF CERRADO's Kaká Goiano in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marzagão's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Kaká Goiano put it in 9-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. Pedro Luís Fernandez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 10-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Thiago Damião took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luís Fernandez. Pedro Luís Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-1. AF CERRADO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
