The tension between the Tarrasque Voador F.C. and the Fluminense DF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Tarrasque Voador F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Barral to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th match minute, Tarrasque Voador F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Waldir Souza made a precise shot to the right of Edmílson Simão. Fluminense DF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 23 played minutes Tarrasque Voador F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ernani Custódio. After 27 minutes of play, Fluminense DF's Luizão Diniz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabinho Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabinho Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Linhares in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Luizão Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabinho Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. A collision led to Tarrasque Voador F.C. getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Carlos Eduardo Pinheiro hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Márcio Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Mané Linhares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabinho Arruda was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After some careless play in the Tarrasque Voador F.C. defense, Luizão Diniz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabinho Arruda. The Tarrasque Voador F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabinho Arruda should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the game, Luizão Diniz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabinho Arruda. Luizão Diniz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldir Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luizão Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabinho Arruda having to interfere. Fabinho Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo de Mendonça in the 58th minute of play. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Fabinho Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo de Mendonça in the 59th minute of play. Fabinho Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guto Vinhas went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Fabinho Arruda came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Fluminense DF's Guto Vinhas. But to his dismay, Guto Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. After 68 minutes of play, Fluminense DF's Guto Vinhas made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabinho Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Fluminense DF fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Fluminense DF's Guto Vinhas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 75th minute, Jeremias Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmílson Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The corner led Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Luís Fábio Cerezo to fire away a dangerous shot which Edmílson Simão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Luís Fábio Cerezo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Tarrasque Voador F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Edmílson Silva hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Diniz came free, but Fabinho Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabinho Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
