After some careless play in the Marzagão defense, Cafu Filho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. The Marzagão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luís Fernandez should have stopped the shot. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Prado in the 11th minute of play. Pedro Luís Fernandez came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Sagarana Clube's Cafu Filho. But to his dismay, Cafu Filho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 15 minutes into the match, Cleiton Freitas notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez. Pedro Luís Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Luís Fernandez came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Sagarana Clube's Cleiton Freitas. But to his dismay, Cleiton Freitas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Pedro Luís Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 0-6 became the score in the 26th minute when Cássio Prado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cássio Prado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Luís Fernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Prado in the 30th minute of play. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Filho in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Sagarana Clube's Cafu Filho made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luís Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Luís Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Prado went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Cafu Filho took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luís Fernandez. Pedro Luís Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cafu Filho in the 44th minute of play.

The wind increased when César Rosa made the kick off in the second half. Dráuzio Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Cássio Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Cássio Prado notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez. Pedro Luís Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hudson Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Pedro Luís Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luís Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu Filho in the 71st minute of the match. Cafu Filho took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luís Fernandez. Pedro Luís Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. Remo Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 76 minutes of play, Sagarana Clube's Hudson Albuquerque made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luís Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Luís Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Filho, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Cleiton Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Pedro Luís Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes Cafu Filho rounded Marzagão's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-15. The Marzagão fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sagarana Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
