Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Souza in the 8th minute of play. In the 13th play minute Zé Roberto Veloso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Luís Fernandez. 1-0. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Zé Roberto Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Gilberto Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Carlos Eduardo Pinheiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marzagão. In the 23rd match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neil Mar to maneuver through the defense. After 47 minutes, Zé Roberto Veloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarrasque Voador F.C. and the Marzagão players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Tarrasque Voador F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto Veloso.

The wind increased when Waldir Souza made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Waldir Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarrasque Voador F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Márcio Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Márcio Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luís Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute Waldir Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Vides hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Márcio Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Antônio Carlos Mazza got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Fabinho Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waldir Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Pedro Luís Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Barral came free, but Pedro Luís Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tarrasque Voador F.C. booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dieguinho Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldir Souza in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luís Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Tarrasque Voador F.C. booed when Marzagão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tarrasque Voador F.C. had won after a very even match.
