The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lauro Trevisan during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Desportivo Lucca MZ's Lauro Trevisan got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Marcelinho Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bater Palma went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 8th match minute, Desportivo Lucca MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Desportivo Lucca MZ's Marcelinho Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ye Xiang in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ye Xiang to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes, Desportivo Lucca MZ's Michel de Brito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Harry Kane came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Desportivo Lucca MZ reached it. 14 minutes into the match, Bater Palma notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Desportivo Lucca MZ's Marcelinho Cruz. Marcelinho Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, Bater Palma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelinho Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 21st minute, Leo Iigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Desportivo Lucca MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Iigo came free, but Marcelinho Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Desportivo Lucca MZ's goalkeeper Marcelinho Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bater Palma. After 28 minutes of play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Leo Iigo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Bater Palma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelinho Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 35 minutes into the match, Bater Palma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelinho Cruz. Desportivo Lucca MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bater Palma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 38 minutes into the game, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelinho Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Marcelinho Cruz made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Bater Palma sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Marcelinho Cruz threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leo Iigo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcelinho Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bater Palma in the 46th minute of play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bater Palma to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ye Xiang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 51 played minutes, Desportivo Lucca MZ's Rafa Favoretto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Harry Kane came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Sandro da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Kane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Marcelinho Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ye Xiang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelinho Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bater Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Ye Xiang made a precise shot to the right of Marcelinho Cruz. Desportivo Lucca MZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. 65 minutes into the match, Bater Palma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelinho Cruz. In the 68thth minute of the game Leo Iigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desportivo Lucca MZ's Marcelinho Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Desportivo Lucca MZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ye Xiang was slow to take the kick. During this time CE LAJEADENSE RS's players had a chance to rest. The corner led CE LAJEADENSE RS's Ye Xiang to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcelinho Cruz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Renan da Fonseca was substituted for Udo Nigula. In the 75th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ranko Toko to maneuver through the defense. In the 78thth minute of the game Bater Palma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desportivo Lucca MZ's Marcelinho Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, HermÃnio Branco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelinho Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Leo Iigo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Marcelinho Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CE LAJEADENSE RS. 84 minutes into the game, Ye Xiang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Marcelinho Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the game, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Ye Xiang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelinho Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. Marcelinho Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Bater Palma took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelinho Cruz. Marcelinho Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CE LAJEADENSE RS fully deserved thier win.
