After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma got a free kick in the 4th minute. Harry Kane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Branco to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Rodrigo Ely sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duda Soeiro skillfully saved the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Aesir FC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Udo Nigula came free, but Duda Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Leo Iigo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Duda Soeiro. In the 27th minute, Délio Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aesir FC FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Udo Nigula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duda Soeiro having to make a save. In the 35th minute CE LAJEADENSE RS were awarded a corner. Ye Xiang went to the cornerflag to take it. Leo Iigo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a little luck, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Duda Soeiro got control of the ball when Bater Palma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harry Kane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Bater Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duda Soeiro came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma. But to his dismay, Bater Palma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Udo Nigula kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Ely to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jefferson Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. Avram Urducea struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Duda Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CE LAJEADENSE RS. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Ye Xiang put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Duda Soeiro. Hermínio Branco hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Bater Palma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aesir FC FSCMZ's Duda Soeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Duda Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bater Palma in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Bater Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osmar Marinho in the 74th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Harry Kane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when Aesir FC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Renan da Fonseca was substituted for Udo Nigula. In the 80th match minute, Aesir FC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Porto to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Duda Soeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Bater Palma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duda Soeiro was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma got a free kick in the 96th minute. The CE LAJEADENSE RS players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
