A hard shot 21 in the game by Pedrinho Hoffmann from a close distance when the talented Almir Diniz managed to make a qualified save. RWD Molenbeek's players were relieved. Almir Diniz stood somewhat misplaced when Pedrinho Hoffmann came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. RWD Molenbeek's Almir Diniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save RWD Molenbeek from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, RWD Molenbeek's Almir Diniz got control of the ball when Perivaldo Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronaldo Novaes hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Almir Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peng Chao Feng in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, one of Atlético-PR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atlético-PR. Atlético-PR:s Eulalio Montrel showed great skill when he stopped Vânderson Santana:s penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Novaes was the one to do the kick off. Almir Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yang Ke Xun in the 53rd minute of the match. When Betinho Damião fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RWD Molenbeek's protests and gave Betinho Damião a yellow card for diving instead. Vânderson Santana hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ambrosio Rayman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético-PR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Rayman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almir Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Hong Jian Fan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético-PR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 65 minutes into the match, RWD Molenbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Hong Jian Fan came free, but Almir Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Betinho Damião got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 67 played minutes RWD Molenbeek got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Damião. After having played for 69 minutes, Francisco Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RWD Molenbeek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to RWD Molenbeek getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Miguel de Toledo hit a great ball. After 80 minutes of play, Atlético-PR's Cyprian Rykaczewski made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almir Diniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 82nd play minutes Pedrinho Hoffmann shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Almir Diniz and just under the crossbar into goal. 87 minutes into the match, RWD Molenbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Hoffmann came free, but Almir Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Hong Jian Fan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético-PR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. After some careless play in the RWD Molenbeek defense, Yang Ke Xun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Almir Diniz. The RWD Molenbeek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Almir Diniz should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Ambrosio Rayman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atlético-PR walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
