The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 minutes of play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Célio Mineiro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilson Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giga Hertz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caco Corrêa's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Limoeiro-PE FC's Cordeara Igay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilson Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 26th minute, Caco Corrêa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiago Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Célio Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Júnior Galego took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilson Queiroz. Gilson Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Irwin Pustak took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilson Queiroz. Marcel Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caco Corrêa to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Limoeiro-PE FC's Cordeara Igay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilson Queiroz. That made the score 0-7 after 53 minutes of play. Limoeiro-PE FC's Célio Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irwin Pustak to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Mineiro in the 64th minute of play forced Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Gilson Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Célio Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Werneck FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Mário Mendes hit a great ball. Limoeiro-PE FC's Júnior Galego couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Werneck FC - DMZ. Marcel Passos took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilson Queiroz. Gilson Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. In the 77th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateus Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Célio Mineiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilson Queiroz came out and tried to block the shot, but Célio Mineiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 79th minute. After 82 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Célio Mineiro. Giga Hertz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Corrêa came free, but Giga Hertz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilson Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Célio Mineiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Célio Mineiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilson Queiroz. The goal made the score 0-10. Limoeiro-PE FC played a much better game than Werneck FC - DMZ and deserved their victory. The Werneck FC - DMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
