Fabrizio Grandis hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Alfredo Capixaba hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With his leg Niclas Ellhof managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Fabrizio Grandis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 29th minute, one of B-S-L:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for B-S-L. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s José Carlos Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Fontes in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Grandis in the 42nd minute of play forced B-S-L's goalkeeper Niclas Ellhof to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Richard-Dean Rodrigues got a free kick in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Adolfo Fontes to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Mateo Ponte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When Mateo Ponte was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. 71 minutes into the match, B-S-L's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrizio Grandis came free, but Niclas Ellhof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BARBARIDADE G.M. were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after B-S-L's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benjamim Palmeira took the corner. At last the ball reached Sebastião Mendonça at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of B-S-L. 2-2. B-S-L's Carlinhos Sergipano was substituted for Alexandre Breckenfeld. Fabrizio Grandis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Niclas Ellhof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. B-S-L made a substitution. Ediberto Travassos replaced Michel Velloso. If Fabrizio Grandis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Adolfo Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. José Carlos Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrizio Grandis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Ellhof having to interfere. Despite being the better team, B-S-L failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
