The supporters of Limoeiro-PE FC booed when BARBARIDADE G.M. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cordeara Igay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. José Carlos Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Júnior Galego left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limoeiro-PE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Júnior Galego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carlos Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Galego in the 28th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Júnior Galego got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Carlos Mendonça quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 36th minute, Fabrizio Grandis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordeara Igay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Mendonça having to interfere. When Limoeiro-PE FC's Cordeara Igay in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BARBARIDADE G.M.'s goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Limoeiro-PE FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Fabrizio Grandis made the kick off in the second half. Mateus Tavares charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateus Tavares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Renzo Spadafora. In the 58th minute Fabrizio Grandis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giga Hertz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gürsel Nafi succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Limoeiro-PE FC made a substitution. Gilson Barreto replaced Mateus Tavares. Giga Hertz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürsel Nafi in the 65th minute of play. José Carlos Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cordeara Igay in the 71st minute. Richard-Dean Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Emerson Galvão got a free kick in the 77th minute. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s José Carlos Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save BARBARIDADE G.M. from getting a goal against them. Limoeiro-PE FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing BARBARIDADE G.M. to leave the ground with a draw.
