Ulisses Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes Anderbye FC got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Figueiredo. If Eliseu Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Anderbye FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. After 23 played minutes, Xurupita FC's Eurico Dante shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ulisses Toledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Xurupita FC reached it. Eliseu Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulisses Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Paraíba in the 32nd minute of play. Eliseu Linhares struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ulisses Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xurupita FC. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Arí Mangueira got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute Eliseu Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hílton Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Correia in the 44th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardinho Correia was the one to do the kick off. Eliseu Linharess short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Ulisses Toledo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 94th minute Belmiro Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anderbye FC's Ulisses Toledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Anderbye FC from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Xurupita FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
