Xurupita FC's Hílton Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Correia in the 8th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Sebastião Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Hílton Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teodoro Teixeira's late challenge caught a Xurupita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Teodoro Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseu Linhares couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Nestor Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Eurico Dante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulisses Toledo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
57 minutes into the match, Belmiro Paraíba notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Anderbye FC's Ulisses Toledo. Ulisses Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 64 minutes into the game, Xurupita FC's Belmiro Paraíba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulisses Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 66th minute Eliseu Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Eurico Dante hit a great ball. Xurupita FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eurico Dante in the 72nd minute. Xurupita FC's Eurico Dante was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ulisses Toledo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Eliseu Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Barros hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes Xurupita FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Cerezo. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Eliseu Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xurupita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulisses Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Paraíba in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Belmiro Paraíba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xurupita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 89th match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Barros to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Linhares in the 97th minute of play forced Anderbye FC's goalkeeper Ulisses Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Anderbye FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Xurupita FC.
