Luís Fabiano Lago took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusébio Gaúcho. Eusébio Gaúcho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 15 minutes of play, Alvi Verde's Ademar Britto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Luís Fabiano Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 minutes, Luís Fabiano Lago made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ibis Football Club's Eusébio Gaúcho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusébio Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Lago in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Alvi Verde's Ademar Britto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvi Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fabiano Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dino Lira charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Eusébio Gaúcho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Fabiano Lago received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eusébio Gaúcho came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Fabiano Lago slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 79th minute. Eusébio Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Lago in the 87th minute of the match. If Luís Fabiano Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvi Verde's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
