In the 2nd match minute, Alvi Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Prado to maneuver through the defense. Guarani Futebol Clube's Giovani Monteiro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Abel Nogueira, made in the 4th minute of the game. Adhemar Gaúcho took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Cearense. Daniel Cearense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Adhemar Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Guarani Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adhemar Gaúcho couldn't finish the play. After 13 minutes, Giovani Monteiro made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Alvi Verde's Daniel Cearense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Felipe Tasso hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Jaime Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Augusto Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Lago in the 22nd minute of the match. Daniel Cearense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adhemar Gaúcho went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute Luís Fabiano Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes, Galindo España mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guarani Futebol Clube and the Alvi Verde players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Guarani Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Galindo España hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Alvi Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Severo came free, but Daniel Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Alvi Verde fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guarani Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
