In the 6th match minute, Fabiofs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. After 8 minutes Fabiofs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thomás Pimenta who took care of the corner kick. If Edgard Maraschin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Maraschin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Mangueira having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ademar Mazza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hílton Mangueira. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ademar Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fabiofs's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademar Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hílton Mangueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Maraschin got free with Hílton Mangueira in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute of the game Armando Sampaio made a throw-in which Cristóvão Leme played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kléber Guimarães got free with Hílton Mangueira in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Leme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macaco F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fabiofs the free kick. The referee gave Macaco F.C. a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Thomás Pimenta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fabiofs's Jonas Pombal. 2-1. Edgard Maraschin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Mangueira having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Fábio Dracena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macaco F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fabiofs the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Fábio Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Maraschin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hílton Mangueira having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Maraschin in the 44th minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Hílton Mangueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Macaco F.C. booed when Fabiofs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Maraschin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. 52 minutes into the match, Ramón Fantini notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Macaco F.C.'s Hílton Mangueira. Hílton Mangueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benjamim Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jonas Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Fabiofs's Edgard Maraschin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hílton Mangueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Macaco F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hílton Mangueira should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Edgard Maraschin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hílton Mangueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Kléber Guimarães scored 6-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hílton Mangueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Pombal made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Geovanni Pinho sent off a good shot on target. After 86 played minutes Fabiofs got a freekick which was hit by Remo Simão. If Edgard Maraschin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomás Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Pombal having to interfere. In the 94th minute Edgard Maraschin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hílton Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Maraschin in the 95th minute of the match.
