The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geovanni Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio de Mendonça in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Silva in the 15th minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Geovanni Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovanni Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Goiano in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, SinháCity FC's Nestor Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovanni Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Geovanni Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Silva in the 24th minute of play. If Armando Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes of play, SinháCity FC's Afonsinho Goiano made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute, Afonsinho Goiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SinháCity FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Nestor Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. SinháCity FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovanni Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38thth minute of the game Afonsinho Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macaco F.C.'s Geovanni Pinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to SinháCity FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Aníbal Tinoco hit a great ball. Geovanni Pinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonsinho Goiano went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonsinho Goiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geovanni Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonsinho Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanni Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Nestor Silva in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geovanni Pinho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 65th minute, SinháCity FC's Afonsinho Goiano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. In the 72nd match minute, SinháCity FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Afonsinho Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovanni Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonsinho Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Nestor Silva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Geovanni Pinho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 83 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Goiano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovanni Pinho. Afonsinho Goiano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Geovanni Pinho came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by SinháCity FC's Afonsinho Goiano. But to his dismay, Afonsinho Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. In the 90th minute, Nestor Silva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geovanni Pinho. The goal made the score 0-10. When the match was over SinháCity FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Macaco F.C. throughout the match.
