The goal made the score 1-0. After 7 minutes, Eusébio de Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macaco F.C. and the Los Hermanos CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Macaco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glauco Negri during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Macaco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Negri. Lucas Dembélé succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 10th playminute. After a rather tough play, Macaco F.C.'s Thomás Pimenta got a free kick in the 15th minute. A collision led to Macaco F.C. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cristóvão Leme hit a great ball. Lucas Dembélé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Los Hermanos CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Los Hermanos CIMZ's Silvinho Britto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Silvinho Britto took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovanni Pinho. Geovanni Pinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 37th minute, Silvinho Britto made a precise shot to the right of Geovanni Pinho. Macaco F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When Ediberto Vides came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Los Hermanos CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ediberto Vides couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 minutes of play Macaco F.C.'s Glauco Negri was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Macaco F.C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Glauco Negri hit a great ball. Macaco F.C.'s Geovanni Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Britto in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Macaco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomás Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Silvinho Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Macaco F.C. defense, Silvinho Britto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovanni Pinho. The Macaco F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanni Pinho should have stopped the shot. After 71 played minutes Los Hermanos CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto Vides. After some careless play in the Macaco F.C. defense, Washington Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovanni Pinho. The Macaco F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanni Pinho should have stopped the shot. The Los Hermanos CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Los Hermanos CIMZ's Silvinho Britto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Washington Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Los Hermanos CIMZ booed when Macaco F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Dembélé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Britto in the 89th minute of play forced Macaco F.C.'s goalkeeper Geovanni Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
