Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Red Bull Magnus's Maurinho Rosado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flávio Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Aloísio Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Engenheiros da Vila. Gilmar Gerber hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Osvaldinho Arruda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aloísio Guimarães. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Aloísio Guimarães came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Engenheiros da Vila's Sérgio Jacinto. But to his dismay, Sérgio Jacinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Magnus's zone, Gernando Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Guimarães came out of the goal and Gernando Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldinho Arruda in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aloísio Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aloísio Guimarães stood somewhat misplaced when Osvaldinho Arruda came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Osvaldinho Arruda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aloísio Guimarães came out and tried to block the shot, but Osvaldinho Arruda slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, one of Red Bull Magnus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Red Bull Magnus. Osvaldinho Arruda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aloísio Guimarães having to make a save. Osvaldinho Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Guimarães having to interfere. Engenheiros da Vila's Osvaldinho Arruda was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldinho Arruda to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Engenheiros da Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Castro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Magnus's zone, Gernando Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Guimarães came out of the goal and Gernando Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 played minutes Red Bull Magnus got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Antunes. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Magnus's zone, Osvaldinho Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Guimarães came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Osvaldinho Arruda made a precise shot to the right of Aloísio Guimarães. Red Bull Magnus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Osvaldinho Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Guimarães having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Red Bull Magnus's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Arruda came free, but Aloísio Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Engenheiros da Vila fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Engenheiros da Vila's Osvaldinho Arruda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aloísio Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Engenheiros da Vila walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
