The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Maurinho Rosado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuca Lara was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Maurinho Rosado hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Virgílio Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Aloísio Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, As de Ouro's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Rosado came free, but Samuca Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Maurinho Rosado put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Samuca Lara. Samuca Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurinho Rosado in the 28th minute. After 29 minutes, Falcão Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. As de Ouro's Nicolas Saraiva got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to As de Ouro getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Amadeu Carvalho hit a great ball. If Sidnei Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Nicolas Saraiva made the kick off in the second half. When Serafim Messias came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the As de Ouro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafim Messias couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the match, Nicolas Saraiva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aloísio Guimarães, 1-2. After 59 played minutes Red Bull Magnus got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Travassos. With a little luck, Red Bull Magnus's Aloísio Guimarães got control of the ball when Nestor Koehler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rômulo Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 73 minutes, Tony Pontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 85th match minute, As de Ouro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Zanette to maneuver through the defense. Aloísio Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Serafim Messias sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurinho Rosado in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuca Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. As de Ouro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
