The audience thought a goal was coming when Thiago Senna got free with João Francisco Costa in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Guarei FC's Rômulo Bezerra got a free kick in the 5th minute. João Francisco Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. João Francisco Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Francisco Costa came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Portugália's Thiago Senna. But to his dismay, Thiago Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thiago Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Francisco Costa having to make a save. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Luiz Fabiano de Almeida with Duda Chaves as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thiago Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Francisco Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Guarei FC's João Francisco Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Senna in the 35th minute of play. After 41 played minutes CA Portugália got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Moraes. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thiago Senna was the one to do the kick off. If Thiago Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gu Xiang Zhou kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Thiago Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Francisco Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thiago Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute Thiago Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Francisco Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thiago Senna went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 66 minutes, Thiago Senna made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Guarei FC's João Francisco Costa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. CA Portugália made a substitution. Mario Jesus Jardel replaced Thiago Senna. João Francisco Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Jesus Jardel went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. João Francisco Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Jesus Jardel in the 74th minute of the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Mario Jesus Jardel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guarei FC's João Francisco Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Jesus Jardel in the 79th minute of play forced Guarei FC's goalkeeper João Francisco Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Jesus Jardel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Costa having to interfere. In the 84th minute Mario Jesus Jardel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Barreto in the 85th minute of play forced Guarei FC's goalkeeper João Francisco Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aloísio Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Anísio Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Portugália's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anísio Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Francisco Costa came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Portugália's Mario Jesus Jardel. But to his dismay, Mario Jesus Jardel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0.
