When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Mario Jesus Jardel sped through Grêmio Bulls's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcel Jacinto. Marcel Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Jesus Jardel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernandinho Barral hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Washington Bezerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rogério Soberano. CA Portugália's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Grêmio Bulls getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Silvério Recife hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Grêmio Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Jesus Jardel came free, but Marcel Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Jesus Jardel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Jesus Jardel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Marcel Jacinto when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrézinho Gomes to make the kick off. CA Portugália's Mario Jesus Jardel got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Portugália's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Mario Jesus Jardel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mario Jesus Jardel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of CA Portugália booed when Grêmio Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes Grêmio Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Abel de Amaral. In the 70th minute Xandinho Kane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Xandinho Kane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xandinho Kane in the 92nd minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Marcel Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Xandinho Kane made a precise shot to the right of Marcel Jacinto. Grêmio Bulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. CA Portugália's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
