Romeu Souto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Psiu! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Alzola to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Fernandinho Urbano put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Laércio Sá. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimir Soares during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Romeu Souto came out of the goal and Sydney Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Fernandinho Urbano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Psiu!'s Laércio Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernandinho Urbano made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Maicon Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Gonçalves came free, but Romeu Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Fernandinho Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute Fernandinho Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Psiu!'s Laércio Sá got control of the ball when Gonçalo de Lara tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Gonçalves came free, but Romeu Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeu Souto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sydney Gonçalves's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Laércio Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho Urbano in the 92nd minute of the match.
