Cauã Costa made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Miguel Bertassi immediately put the ball in play. After 18 played minutes Austra 04 VFC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Bertassi. 28 minutes into the match, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Téo de Salles came free, but Leonardo Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Austra 04 VFC got a freekick which was hit by Rony Nunes. Leonardo Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathias Freire's late challenge caught a Austra 04 VFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathias Freire helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Mathias Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Téo de Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Téo de Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Hugo Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Hugo Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Terra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugo Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Dionísio during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonardo Trancoso had great luck who in the 66thth minute grab hold of the ball when Téo de Salles from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 70 minutes into the match, Téo de Salles notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Leonardo Trancoso. Leonardo Trancoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Leonardo Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Hugo Terra sped through Austra 04 VFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabiano Porto. Téo de Salles might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Trancoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Téo de Salles ran back to his position shaking his head. If Miguel Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Téo de Salles took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Leonardo Trancoso to make any attempt to save it. Leonardo Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo de Salles in the 99th minute of the match. Chants of Austra 04 VFC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Red Dragon FC - DMZ had held the ball for most of the match.
