After 36 played minutes Jardim América FC got a freekick which was hit by Richard Vargas. Cafu Berger made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Jardim América FC's Nuno Neves. In the 42ndth minute of the game Enio Mangueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Psiu!'s Laércio Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laércio Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Raúl Nascimento hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.
