Clóvis Sergipano came out of the goal and Oswaldo Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Que se abra o mar's Oswaldo Peres got a free kick in the 5th minute. Que se abra o mar's Gino Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Zica in the 11th minute of play. Gino Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Zica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Jardel Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 19 minutes, Ulisses de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BANDOLEIROS osasco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulisses de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oswaldo Peres during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Que se abra o mar booed when BANDOLEIROS osasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position.
