In the 8th minute, Zuera Never End MZC's Léo Meireles seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Léo Meireles the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zuera Never End MZC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Léo Meireles had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 9th match minute, Zuera Never End MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Téo Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santo Everton having to make a save. Vitório Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Prestes in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Zuera Never End MZC got a corner. Quebra Ossos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oscar Prestes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Oscar Prestes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Quebra Ossos FC's Vitório Britto did a great save. In the 13th minute, Telmo Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Zuera Never End MZC booed when Quebra Ossos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Prestes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitório Britto having to make a save. After 22 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Galvão. Vitório Britto came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zuera Never End MZC's Oscar Prestes. But to his dismay, Oscar Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Prestes in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitório Britto saved Quebra Ossos FC from getting behind. Renato Guimarães might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitório Britto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renato Guimarães ran back to his position shaking his head. Oscar Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório Britto having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elói Branco during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elói Branco hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to Quebra Ossos FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Elói Branco hit a great ball. The supporters of Quebra Ossos FC booed when Zuera Never End MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elói Branco was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Saldanha in the 52nd minute of play forced Zuera Never End MZC's goalkeeper Santo Everton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Branco in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Everton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rui Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Vitório Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renato Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitório Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Rui Coutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitório Britto. Quebra Ossos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Coutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Rui Coutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Coutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Quebra Ossos FC booed when Zuera Never End MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Telmo Salles took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Everton. Santo Everton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Vitório Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitório Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Coutinho in the 85th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Zuera Never End MZC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Prestes. 89 minutes into the match, Zuera Never End MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Branco came free, but Santo Everton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Zuera Never End MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faas Marsal to maneuver through the defense. Vitório Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Prestes in the 96th minute of the match. The Zuera Never End MZC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
