In the 5th minute, Waldemar Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Batista came free, but Bernardo Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game João Pirani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PIRITUBA MM 4EVER's Luiz Guilherme da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute, Carlos Eduardo Sergipano made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Guilherme da Cunha. PIRITUBA MM 4EVER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Valladares in the 14th minute of play forced PIRITUBA MM 4EVER's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute João Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes PIRITUBA MM 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Bastos. 24 minutes into the match, PIRITUBA MM 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Valladares came free, but Luiz Guilherme da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Matheus Paraíba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pirani in the 43rd minute of play forced PIRITUBA MM 4EVER's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vascogoianiense FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Eduardo Sergipano in the 44th minute. João Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kléberson Ramalho was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Guilherme da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Paraíba in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the PIRITUBA MM 4EVER defense, João Pirani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Guilherme da Cunha. The PIRITUBA MM 4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Guilherme da Cunha should have stopped the shot. PIRITUBA MM 4EVER's Luiz Guilherme da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Sergipano in the 57th minute of play. PIRITUBA MM 4EVER's Luiz Guilherme da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save PIRITUBA MM 4EVER from getting a goal against them. After 82 minutes, Silvério Cavalcante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PIRITUBA MM 4EVER and the Vascogoianiense FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes PIRITUBA MM 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Cavalcante. In the 83rd minute, Matheus Paraíba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luiz Guilherme da Cunha. The goal made the score 0-8.
