Dong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Prestes in the 9th minute of play. Carlos Leclerc made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Rômulo Freire sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the game, Rômulo Freire recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Leclerc. Rômulo Freire showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Cercadinho booed when Jumeuc Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's Rômulo Freire sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Leclerc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Hamilton Luis came free, but Dong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everton Ribeiro hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeu Prestes in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamilton Luis in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niceto Gagriel was the one to do the kick off. Rômulo Freire's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Leclerc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Cercadinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Gagriel to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Leclerc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeu Prestes's late challenge caught a Cercadinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Rômulo Freire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cercadinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Carlos Leclerc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Freire in the 74th minute of play. Hamilton Luis in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dong, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cercadinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Gagriel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Leclerc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute of the match He Fei Zhou shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Leclerc showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cercadinho's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
