The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Edin Džeko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Songurbey Şahsuvar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Doriva de Queirós. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Doriva de Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 10 minutes, Marvin Granados mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nova Erechim - FSCMZ and the Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maurinho Valadares charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurinho Valadares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Valadares to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Edin Džeko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Doriva de Queirós. Edin Džeko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Amadeo Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Doriva de Queirós got control of the ball when Cyryl Kondysar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 36th play minutes Edin Džeko shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Doriva de Queirós and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 38th minute, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Guilherme Peres dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Doriva de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Songurbey Şahsuvar sent off a good shot on target. Songurbey Şahsuvar struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Doriva de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Erechim - FSCMZ. Doriva de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edin Džeko in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Doriva de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Songurbey Şahsuvar, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 60 minutes of play, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Guilherme Peres made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doriva de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, Edin Džeko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doriva de Queirós. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edin Džeko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ made a substitution. 徐斌义 replaced Shi Yi Xi. 74 minutes into the match, Diguinho Saraiva notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Doriva de Queirós. Doriva de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko got a free kick in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Régis Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Nova Erechim - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Edin Džeko hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Maurinho Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Guilherme Peres came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Nova Erechim - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme Peres couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Džeko came free, but Doriva de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 徐斌义 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva de Queirós having to interfere. Belmiro Lopez lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Régis Mello struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Doriva de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Erechim - FSCMZ. When Leonardo Mineiro fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's protests and gave Leonardo Mineiro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nova Erechim - FSCMZ booed when Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
