Reynaldo Vides hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Pedrão Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of AnÐaRaHy booed when America FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Alan Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When AnÐaRaHy's Diguinho Gaúcho in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye America FC's goalie prevented a goal. Diguinho Gaúcho might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laerte Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diguinho Gaúcho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Diguinho Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes AnÐaRaHy got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Catarinense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Salgado in the 25th minute of play forced AnÐaRaHy's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laerte Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diguinho Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, America FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diguinho Gaúcho came free, but Laerte Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Diguinho Gaúcho sped through America FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laerte Meireles. Diguinho Gaúcho might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laerte Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diguinho Gaúcho ran back to his position shaking his head. Reynaldo Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes America FC got a freekick which was hit by Alan Baptista. America FC's Laerte Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Vides in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guilherme Donatello made a kick off. Diguinho Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Laerte Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laerte Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diguinho Gaúcho in the 52nd minute. Diguinho Gaúcho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laerte Meireles having to make a save. In the 58thth minute of the game Diguinho Gaúcho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but America FC's Laerte Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laerte Meireles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Reynaldo Vides showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 60 minute of play. Alan Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Laerte Meireles had great luck who in the 76thth minute grab hold of the ball when Reynaldo Vides from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Diguinho Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Laerte Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AnÐaRaHy. In the 80th minute, Diguinho Gaúcho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AnÐaRaHy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. AnÐaRaHy's attentive Leonard Golota managed to snatch the ball when Alan Baptista made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. AnÐaRaHy played a much better game than America FC and deserved their victory. The America FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
