Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) FLU ES fc's Gilson Xavier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Fernandão Arce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AVAÍ F.C. and the FLU ES fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernandão Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 6 played minutes AVAÍ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz Pinheiro. In the 7th minute of the match Tales Almeida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Catarinense showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If William de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilson Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Catarinense came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by FLU ES fc's Patrick da Rocha. But to his dismay, Patrick da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gabriel Poveda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho da Costa having to interfere. Gilson Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Mateus Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Mateus Alves in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Alves in the 40th minute of play forced FLU ES fc's goalkeeper Maurinho da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes AVAÍ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Passos. 44 minutes into the game, Mateus Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AVAÍ F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FLU ES fc the free kick. After 45 played minutes AVAÍ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Alves. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 51 played minutes FLU ES fc got a freekick which was hit by Ismael de Andrade. In the 56th minute, Gabriel Poveda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurinho da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Gabriel Poveda scored 2-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurinho da Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AVAÍ F.C.'s Leopoldo Toscano was substituted for Fernandão Arce. 66 minutes into the match, FLU ES fc's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Poveda came free, but Maurinho da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, FLU ES fc's goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Alves came free, but Maurinho da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute AVAÍ F.C. were awarded a corner. Mateus Alves went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Mateus Alves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FLU ES fc's Maurinho da Costa did a great save. After some careless play in the FLU ES fc defense, Jonathan Mota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurinho da Costa. The FLU ES fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurinho da Costa should have stopped the shot. Marcos Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurinho da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Mota in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FLU ES fc's zone, Mateus Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurinho da Costa came out of the goal and Mateus Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Poveda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Maurinho da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AVAÍ F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
