Franklin Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Gaucho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franklin Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldinho Gaucho's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the A.D Garotos do Vale defense, Ronaldinho Gaucho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franklin Montenegro. The A.D Garotos do Vale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franklin Montenegro should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Moraes in the 22nd minute of play forced ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper Gustavo Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, A.D Garotos do Vale's Raimundo Botelho got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute, Ronaldinho Gaucho made a precise shot to the right of Franklin Montenegro. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Franklin Montenegro came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Ronaldinho Gaucho. But to his dismay, Ronaldinho Gaucho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Gustavo Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Gaucho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Franklin Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th match minute, A.D Garotos do Vale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Isac to maneuver through the defense. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Emil Mjølner was substituted for Tostão Xavier. 72 minutes into the match, A.D Garotos do Vale's Davi Isac sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Aparecido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rumen Atanasov charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rumen Atanasov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rumen Atanasov kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ had won after a very even match.
