Gilson de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reimond Reddington, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reimond Reddington in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilson de Alcântara saved Chinho FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Goth Cloudy Experience's zone, Zé Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldinho Novaes came out of the goal and Zé Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute Reimond Reddington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chinho FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mané Couto was slow to take the kick. During this time Goth Cloudy Experience's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Goth Cloudy Experience's corner Mané Couto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gilson de Alcântara quite easily take care of the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chinho FC's goalkeeper Gilson de Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reimond Reddington struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Gilson de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goth Cloudy Experience. Reimond Reddington recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute Reimond Reddington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chinho FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mané Couto was slow to take the kick. During this time Goth Cloudy Experience's players had a chance to rest. Mané Couto made a great header on Goth Cloudy Experience's corner, it was just that Chinho FC's Gilson de Alcântara managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 46th minute of the match Mané Couto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilson de Alcântara skillfully saved the ball. Di Corre hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Mané Couto, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute Alfredo de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gilson de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Chinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reimond Reddington came free, but Gilson de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo de Senna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Gilson de Alcântara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Goth Cloudy Experience's Reimond Reddington slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilson de Alcântara. That made the score 0-1 after 66 minutes of play. In the 70th minute, Mané Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reimond Reddington in the 71st minute of play forced Chinho FC's goalkeeper Gilson de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilson de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reimond Reddington, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Chinho FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Lenílson Munhoz hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes Chinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Altin Intel. In the 93rd match minute, Goth Cloudy Experience was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldão Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. If Reimond Reddington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
