Afonsinho Munhoz scored 0-5 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robinho Albuquerque, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nilmar do Nascimento made a kick off. Reinaldo Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Robinho Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, La Bestia Negra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilmar do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Afonsinho Munhoz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 86th playminute. With a little luck, La Bestia Negra's Robinho Albuquerque got control of the ball when Afonsinho Munhoz tried to sneak it across the goal line.
