Cacá Diniz took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiago Gabriel Capixaba. Tiago Gabriel Capixaba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Laus Deo's Arsenio Manni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Laus Deo from getting a goal against them. Arsenio Manni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Flavinho Rosado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 8 minute of play. Flavinho Rosado scored 2-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsenio Manni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christiano Chaves in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arsenio Manni saved Laus Deo from getting behind. After some careless play in the Zandarin FC defense, Michel de Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiago Gabriel Capixaba. The Zandarin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiago Gabriel Capixaba should have stopped the shot. Cacá Diniz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Timur Belyaninov made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luis Alberto Moura immediately put the ball in play. 39 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Diniz came free, but Tiago Gabriel Capixaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Acácio Porto to make the kick off. Arsenio Manni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christiano Chaves's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. A collision led to Zandarin FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alfredinho Camargo hit a great ball. Cacá Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Tiago Gabriel Capixaba made a huge save. The Laus Deo fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Laus Deo's Acácio Porto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luis Alberto Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tiago Gabriel Capixaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laus Deo's Robinho Recife was substituted for Cacá Diniz. Laus Deo's Gildo Tande was substituted for Kong Ping. 74 minutes into the match, Laus Deo's goal looked a bit too open when Flavinho Rosado came free, but Arsenio Manni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Luís Seco hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Tiago Gabriel Capixaba was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Timur Belyaninov. Christiano Chaves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arsenio Manni having to make a save. Zandarin FC's Christiano Chaves got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
