After 2 played minutes Laus Deo got a freekick which was hit by Peder Mellingen. After 4 played minutes Galo na Veia FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Hulk Haaland. Acácio Porto's late challenge caught a Galo na Veia FC™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Acácio Porto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Laus Deo getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Acácio Porto hit a great ball. After 10 minutes, Peder Mellingen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laus Deo and the Galo na Veia FC™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Laus Deo got a freekick which was hit by Peder Mellingen. Ferdinand Feuš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Galo na Veia FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Porto came free, but Horácio Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Acácio Porto in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horácio Donato saved Galo na Veia FC™ from getting behind. The Laus Deo fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Laus Deo's Acácio Porto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With his leg Arsenio Manni managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Galo na Veia FC™'s Hulk Haaland fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arsenio Manni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hulk Haaland's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Galo na Veia FC™'s Horácio Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Alberto Moura in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute, Galo na Veia FC™'s Wilfried Spaniol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Kiko Martins charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kiko Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Kiko Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Cacá Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Acácio Porto in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horácio Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cacá Diniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horácio Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The supporters of Galo na Veia FC™ booed when Laus Deo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 played minutes Laus Deo got a freekick which was hit by Peder Mellingen. The audience was convinced that Hulk Haaland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arsenio Manni was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After 61 played minutes Laus Deo got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Porto. Arsenio Manni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Feuš in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfried Spaniol in the 64th minute of play forced Laus Deo's goalkeeper Arsenio Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peder Mellingen was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 71 played minutes Laus Deo got a freekick which was hit by Peder Mellingen. Laus Deo made a substitution. Gildo Tande replaced Kong Ping.
